Watering the grapes

This was one of TSM's birthday presents and is a grape plant with a couple of bunches of rather nice looking grapes on it. I had no idea it was such a hardy plant (apparently can hack temperatures as low as minus 15 degrees) but you only get the grapes if you give it lots of sun and water. Think it might be a few years before we are bottling our own vintage ...

Photography tip: don't put your Nikon D300 and expensive sigma lens on a
tripod in the garden then turn around on some ancient and bendy decking so that the world flexes beneath it and the whole thing topples over ... no harm done but a wobbly moment for both the kit and its owner ...
