The Forth Bridge

Crossing the iconic Forth Bridge at lunchtime.

Advanced booking fares meant it was only marginally more expensive to go from Arbroath to Edinburgh in First Class - and why not. Free WiFi (4.95 an hour in the standard carriages - it used to be free - you only get 15 minutes now) and rather tasty toast too!

I love crossing the rail bridge - I've done it more times than I can remember (and if you're commuting to Edinburgh from Fife I bet it's even more mundane!)

Although, the view from the Forth Road Bridge is actually better.
