View from the farm
This is one of the views from the half-made deck on our home at our farm. The house is on the top of a hill with amazing views of the surrounding mountains on all sides.
This is an absolutely fabulous view which changes with the seasons. The mountains way in the distance are big and rugged - they are not hills.
The two lines in front are electricity wires that cross our property. I didn't crop them out as too much of the photo would be lost.
The scenery changes according to the season and weather. At present the grass has died off and we are feeding the cattle with bales of hay. You can see some green patches but the cows and calves will chew down that area fairly quickly when they find it.
We don't permanently live at the farm yet. My husband has been building a house for several years. We do a bit more to the house whenever we have some money but it is almost complete. We plan to move there when we retire and grow vegetables in a bigger garden than we have now and live on eggs from the chooks!!!
It is only 20 minutes from where we live now so is easy to visit almost every day.
