Tour de France

Accidentally came across the Tour de France today - went to the Champs Elysees to do a bit of shopping and lo and behold...! Actually got there about three hours before the racers came past, so K and I got bored after an hour and went and did some shopping. I think I was in Gap at the time of the actual race, this is a photo (and not a very good one) of them doing laps afterwards.

Have not been very good at taking photos recently, which is annoying. Last weekend, after Bastille Day, spent a lot of time hanging out with A2, and also helped out at an art gallery on Rue de Rivoli called 59. That was fun! Did the pub quiz with A2 and we won! Unfortunately so did someone else, and we lost the tie-breaker (a beer drinking competition). Nevermind, we at least drew intellectually! The past week has been spent cleaning - eldest and middle child left to go to America with their grandma last Sunday (after eldest child and I sorted out her room!) so I have just been looking after smallest child, which has been lovely. Friday and Saturday this week have been spent cleaning and hanging out with K who is back for a visit! It has been a nice week :)
