Chris woke up with a migraine today so missed out on our trip to Fonteney le Comte. We wandered down an old street which was full of musicians and artists. Amelie, who was supposed to be sleeping, loved the music. When she eventually fell asleep we had a look in some shops and then went for lunch where she woke up. We could still hear the music from where we were eating which was really nice. Amelie charmed the restaurant staff, as always, including the chef!! We headed out of town after lunch and to the supermarket and some other shops. Granny and Mummy managed to purchase many many candles for the tables at night at the wedding whilst Papa and Amelie found some wellies for 2 euros. As it turned out, they were far too big but Amelie enjoyed stomping about in them anyway once we were home. Chris had a much worse migraine than we'd thought when we left him so was happy to see us home so he could get more painkillers and some food! Amelie was happy to see him too and sat beside him to drink her bedtime milk before I put her down.
