On the Beach

M and I kayaked through the mid day in cool and cloudy weather. Along the shoreline of Bowen Island for a couple of hours. Slept in, talked, breakfast, talked, kayaked, talked, read, walk....talked. Dinner now. Getting caught up with a good friend. Wonderful. That is what summer is all about. If we can't have the weather, we can have the friendships.

This old log is on one of the beaches near her home. We sat by the water for awhile late today, then beachcombed. I was struck by the colours, tone and lines. This is almost 2 dimensional shot this close up. Love the patterns.
