Steam Plant

Once upon a time this was a steam plant - but now it is a bio-tech company that has retained the shape and vestiges of its life in another century. I love the pipes in the sky, and the lovely windows, the mix of modern use with by-gone and preserved architecture. The richness of the latter is so more satisfying than 21st century block glass buildings, in my opinion anyway. Buildings like this give a city and/or region a sense of personality.
