Batteries charged, now shoot

First day out with the X100, and what a day - bright, sunny, warm (and in Edinburgh).

Work is busy at the mo, especially as I'm trying to get ahead before I go on a little break at the end of August, so it is a must to go out for a stroll at lunch.*

It is silent in operation, but most impressive of all, so is the shutter. Very good for street/subtle photos. I managed to rattle a few off in town, around the west end, without anyone noticing/batting eyelids.

Anyway, this is just my first day with it, and as I'm just getting started, go easy on the shots. I think this is one item where a glance at the manual might serve some real purpose. Colour version here.**
