Sheep tales

Another beautiful day on the island of Arran, will it last?
Saw the gang were all right in the morning and then went to visit a friend on the other side of the island. Had never been to her house or met her husband but they were a grand couple and we had a long good blether about all things . they had just finished shearing their 1300 sheep so were knackered so were just wanting to sit and yarn in the sunshine. Thourghly enjoyed it then came back over the String road, had dinner in a diffirent hotel the Lamlash Bay hotel and I have to say the food was amazingly good and the young waiter from Yorkshire did the work of about three of the usual slovenly waiters you come acorss and earned himself an handsome tip from us all, what a nice change it makes when you get both good service AND good food

Tomorrow I have to do my treck round the island looking for raffle prizes. Most establishments give you something but you do come acorss the odd grouch who moans about having to donate a prize for this that and the other but on the whole they are very good, its just that I hate having to do it but I generally get a good haul. Tomorrow evenig is the family ceilidh dance in Whiteing Bay hall and is usually packed out so that should be good fun

Have a good blip evening all
