racing a train

this little goose got startled by a nearby train... which is the blur of color in the background... and then decided to begin racing it - like, did he really believe it could be caught? plus, it would've meant deserting his cohorts... he quickly aborted his actions. for me - it was super fun to watch and i admit to cheering him on with a "woot-woot" while i was snapping like a crazy person.

note: other than being slightly cropped, this picture is straight from the camera... i don't understand why exactly the train ended up blurred like it did as i didn't do anything special that i'm aware of - i was just pleasantly surprised upon the download to my computer and liked it as is.
