cherries

this is the most fruit this tree has ever produced...dougal has shredded the trunk and broken two big branches off this tree - but it seems to have done it some good! might make a cherry pie.

in contrast - our veg patch is producing very little this year. most things have been strangled by a russian ivy that's rife in the garden. might get a few beetroot yet though. c'mon the beetroot!

aaand the paper mâché continued today...it's all been a wee bit of a disaster but I'm optimistic that it can be rescued...by me, because the kids have totally lost interest. pesky kids.
