Sunshine through the woods

Another (!) beautiful morning and away we went down through the woods to see if there were any poppies left in the wheatfields. See MaggieD
This afternoon, we took off down the canal and took the opportunity to see if we could persuade Rona to take up swimming. She was most unimpressed and, after a very quick dog-paddle, stayed firmly on the bank. As she is due a trim tomorrow, (possible blip subject ahead!) she went straight into the bath on her return. I have no idea where she kept it, but the amount of muck washed off her was ridiculous. Close to blocking the drain wouild not be too much of an exaggeration!
