Day 4: urban lavender field

Today I discovered a wonderful field of lavender tucked away in Vauxhall Park.

I know this photo is all wrong technically - its out of focus and compositionally the focal points are too centred. But I kind of like it anyway. I like that it looks a little dreamy and the way the stalks are thrusting up at an angle outwards. Lavender IS kinda dreamy. Or at least it is until a scary druggie comes up and demands to see your camera because he thinks you've been taking photos of him, not the flowers.
