Wrightsville Beach Mailbox

At the far northern end of Wrightsville Beach in a somewhat isolated spot next to the inlet, there is a mysterious mailbox. It is somewhat of a shrine where people write and leave notes written to God, lost loves, current loves and letters of thanks. Inside the mailbox there is a note book full of letters and blank paper waiting for a note. Around the mailbox there are shells with notes written in them, personal items, and not pictured a branch that has been strung with shells and beads. You have to walk a little bit to find it but it is worth the walk.
