I didn't do it!
This point-and-shoot fell victim to drowning and subsequent electrocution. The guilty party (NOT me!) was running around in the pouring rain taking pictures of the completed phase 1 of the Heritage Museum Rain Garden project.
The good news: the rain garden worked just as designed, slowing down the parking lot run-off, retaining it and allowing for infiltration weir by weir (I'll have some pics shortly).
The bad news: the camera got wet and turned itself off. The Guilty Party forced it on, which as we were told is a no-no.
We were also told, next time our camera gets wet, to stick it in a bag of uncooked rice for a few days, so that the rice can suck the moisture out of it.
Any truth to that???
PS. This sad incident took place a while ago. I am bringing it up now as joining of the blipworld made this memorial possible.
