Orange-red Rose

My favorite garden on our walks has this rose, among many other's in it. The lady maintains a lovely yard and it is so nice to walk by and see all her flowers. She doesn't mind that I snap pictures of her beauties. I chose this just because it is so vibrant against the green. A bit of an attention getter after yesterdays "artsy" shot.

Thank you for the hearts and stars yesterday. And for all the nice comments I've been getting on my images...it's been nice.

Woke up to thunder this morning. Yes, the one who is half-deaf hears the thunder booming in the distance. Weird. Then I heard the rain outside our open bedroom window. But, even though it's a bit cloudy, the air is warm. I went to the library to pick up a book, but I had to go to a library further away from me to get the one I wanted. In fact, the library is in Camas, a neighboring community. They really have a lovely, newer library there. I want to check out the new library in downtown Vancouver. Hopefully that will be a blip one day soon. I bet you just can't wait for that, huh?

I see the boys and girls in the back room of blip central have been tinkering. Nice job, guys!
