My home is hauled out for survey

A sledge was let down the Underfall slipway and my boat was manoeuvered onto it, wedges pulled to hold her upright as she was hauled up the slipway. Her bottom was cleaned of slime with a pressure washer (very few zebra mussels were present but it was a filthy job) and tomorrow a surveyor will test her metal thickness with ultrasound, go through her mechanics and hopefully pass her as sound enough to buy. She will be scrubbed free of limescale, anodes replaced (sacrificial metal that attracts electrolosis in the water instead of it attacking the boat metal) and then painted with several coats of blacking paint that should protect her hull for the next 4-5 years.

Another angle here

So please keep your fingers crossed
