afterwards #2

So, today was a real struggle. The last guests left at about 9.45pm last night, with the first guests having arrived at about 3pm on Friday. That's about 55 hours non-stop partying. We were both completely knackered. We fell into bed last night and woke up this morning only a little less tired than before.

I had to eat biscuits and cake at work today just to keep me going - it was that bad! But we were both able to finish early, which was great because we still had loads to do at home - I worked out I've swept the kitchen floor 4 times since the party officially finished!

Mrs BH finally got round to opening her huge haul of gifts - people are really so generous, and they also all got really nice tasteful gifts - things we would have chosen ourselves, which is great!

Apparently the bunting's staying up for a month... there may be a few more blippertunities there!

Anyways, early to bed for me, with a very happy wife. It's all good. :o)
