22 Degrees
Look... we can do degrees now!
And bullets - ? - and stuff ? ???. ?Woohoo? ???
(no, we can;t - false alarm - they appear as you type and in the preview, but are stripped out when you publish)
It was reading that temperature in the car earlier when we headed out for some errands and for a wee daunder in the sunshine. It's also the number of degrees linked to this phenomenon of a halo around the sun. It wasn't quite a complete circle here but I liked the contrail wafting through on this one.
Our wee daunder was slightly curtailed though as we couldn't wander off any road surface because Heather had decided to wear her white 'gutties' (the shoes she'd saved for herself and brought back from the USA, the shoes that would've cost probably exactly the same here if she'd really looked).
So we wandered for a bit where we could - lots of bare chested white lightning drinking types splashing around down by the river that we didn't want to disturb as they seemed, as they say around these parts, oot their skulls. It was like the Costa Cambus with all that naked blue flesh flashing around and the pimped down Vauxhall Corsa thumping out some banging choons. As soon as the mercury heads anywhere near 14 degrees C around here it's off with the adidas string vests and jump into the nearest body of contaminated water. It'll be hosepipe ban and sharing bathwater time by the end of the week if this keeps up.
Off to check the mousetraps now - two caught and released in the last 24 hours with no further injury to either party. I'm hoping that's them all gone but I think next door's cat isn't.
