Last day Looters

The Confectionary fair has come to an end and on the last day it's "trading day" when you can do swaps with the other stands to bring home loot. I think that we did well for the office, friends and family collecting plenty of swag. The show is divided into different countries: we found the most generous to be the Australians and Irish although we also found some friendly French and Belgians (although a few stingy ones too - happy to take but not to give).

The organisers also let in some students on the last day, aka looters who will take anything not pinned down. I saw some go by pushing a shopping trolley full of goodies, other people fill up suitcases ready to sell at the market on the weekend.

The fair was a great experience although it's quite surreal/big brotherish having no contact with the outside world or seeing natural light for four days as you work away on your stand, get to know the neighbours and much your way through endless sweeties and chocs.
