Not The Right Wings @fairburnings

As it was such a gorgeous morning, Rebecca and I went for a walk along RSPB Fairburn Ings new Riverside Trail. Parking at Lin Dyke, we walked to the Visitor Centre and back.

We were lucky enough to see the juvenile Redstart, but dipped on the Turtle Doves.

Just as we were passing Lin Dyke Hide on our way back to the car, this passed over Fairburn Village in the distance. It is one of only two remaining Lancaster bombers still flying - "The City of Lincoln".

A great end to a very enjoyable walk, packed with warblers, butterflies and SUN!!!
