Time for a break

So many possible things to write about time today.

After a pleasant run this morning, and some letter writing S and I went North to visit her mother and catch up with progress on the Beach House. A major distraction from waiting for the message.

We looked at the building progress during their lunch break. Today was the coldest day this winter so far, and they had to have the doors open. One commented that they should have just kept working as they were not cold while working!

Mother in law a bit weak when we arrived, but perked up before we left, and became enthusiastic about her paintings again/still. Time for her to spend on her art is precious.

The waited for message arrived just before we left for home.
