Restaurant Week 2011 - Shang
Went to Susur Lee's restaurant Shang for my first stop in restaurant week 2011.
Appetizer
- Beer Battered Calamari with some Habanero Sauce
- Saute?ed Vegetables, Garlic, Ginger, Sweet Bean Sauce Vegetable Wrap
Entrees
- Top Chef Chicken which is Coconut Curried Chicken, Mint Chutney, Tomato Jam, Pineapple, Cashews
- Marinated Skirt Steak with Shallot Brown Butter, Hazelnuts Chili Ponzu, Potato Puree
Desserts
- Chocolate Truffle Cake Blackberry white chocolate mousse
- Panna Cotta
While everything was somewhat delicious, to be honest, it wasn't everything that was expected. The appetizers were the high notes and were INCREDIBLE!
