My first ever flash mob event... Surreal!!

If you have never attended a geocaching flash mob event, then please seek one out and go along for a surreal moment!

A flash mob event is where a group of geocachers meet up at certain coordinates. At an agreed time everyone performs a specific action and then we all disperse into the crowd or shops as if nothing happened!

So, today at 12.02pm, over 300 geocachers (many dressed as pirates) assembled in Ashbourne town centre. When "poupirate" sounded a horn, everyone pointed to the sky for a period of 1 min until the horn was sounded again. Then we went for fish & chips!! Yes.... Bizarre!!
