Easy Like Sunday Evening

Went for a really enjoyable climbing session this afternoon and I always come home feeling exhausted and energised at the same time.

So instead of spending the evening finishing last night's bottle of over-sweet rose and pottering around the house, the brown dog and I are off around the fields and over the old airfield. It's beautiful tonight, with long shadows and a warm glow from the sun making the corn look even more golden than normal.

The wine can wait and will taste all the sweeter . . . hmmmm . . . not sure that's a good thing.
