If all else fails read the instructions
Lovely weekend down in Somerset/Dorset with friends.
Saturday evening we went to a wedding reception, nice evening with a barn dance so everyone at some point got up and danced. (I did drink a little bit too much though!)
We stayed with friends of the OM's. My blip shows the OM (on the right) and his friend Kenny (very tall, on the left) trying to put up the gazebo for the barbecue for Sunday lunch. Kenny and his wife Mary are a lovely couple, very relaxing company. The OM and Kenny have been friends since they were 11.
I think the conversation went something like this:
"Have you go two 2Bs, three 1As and a 1?"
No, does 1 and 1A form part of the roof?"
"Is that a corner joint?"
"Is this right: we only have two 2bs?"
Eventually, in my managerial role, I suggested looking at the instructions! The gazebo went up successfully and lunch was lovely thanks to Mary's hardwork in the kitchen.
