Heddon's Mouth
An overcast day so we set off for Exmoor Zoo, top attractions were the bay lemur jumping repeatedly on it's Mother, the porcupine and the armadillo!
We went to a great pub in Parracoombe called the Fox and Goose for Sunday lunch, then we used the National Trust I-phone App and went to Heddon's Mouth, a gorgeously unspoiled rocky coastal bay, the nearest parking is a mile away so we had a gorgeous hilly walk along the river to get to it and spent ages clambering on the giant stones and gazing out to sea, we saw a seal!!!!! Very exciting!
Gulli was the only one brave enough to go in, here he is being photographed by Max.
Back on the farm, the log fire is blazing and fillet steaks produced on this farm are for supper!!!
We also saw Holwell Castle remains, a motte and bailey castle almost 1000 years old in the hillside!
