Ice cream and Arbroath Smokies
Today we headed north to sunny Arbroath - just for a bit of a wander around really.
As we were driving up we noticed what looked like a Sea King helicopter circling and I presume there had been some sort of sea incident as when we finally parked and walked round to the harbour we could see them just bringing the Lifeboat back into it's shed. So we had a nice sit down in the sunshine on the harbour wall and watched as they cleaned it all up and slowly hoisted it back in again.
Then bit of a wander about, visit to the lightbouse museum (free and worth a look if you find your self in Arbroath!), ice creams were eaten (apart from me - I made do with a Diet Coke, stupid diet) and we brought some Arbroath Smokies home for tea - YUM!!
