Jam

As we were dashing out to Harry Potter on friday, one of our neighbours handed over a bag full of strawberries, so yesterday they were tipped into a bowl with some sugar and lemon juice to steep overnight and today they were made into jam!

And we have enough to make Eton Mess for pudding last night!

I don't normally make strawberry jam, although I adore strawberries, I have issues with the smell of them once they are cooked. I never eat or drink strawberry flavour things either, it never ends well!


However I seem to have gotten over it but have not been brave enough to eat any!! It has been given the seal of approval from the children and Mr C&D.

I shall save a jar for my ma when she visits, it is her favourite.
