Old and New

Had to go and buy a new dvd player for the people who have rented No. 41, the existing dvd had died (I think), I'm leaving it for Corin to play with, see if he can fix it.

This is an interesting tale, we had to go to the airport yesterday as the family who are renting No. 41 only hired a small car, Corsa, and there are 6 of them. We had all assumed (never assume) that it was Mum, Dad, Gdad, Gma and a couple of kids. Wrong, father and five of his NINE kids, his two oldest boys are in the army and his two youngest (age 4 and 6) are at home with Mum from whom he is now separated, I think she is worn out. So we now have a family of 2 boys (little horrors) age 9 and 11, and 3 girls age 15, 19 and 23 and dad, staying in No. 41. He is very nice and the girls are very polite, the boys are a tad rude.

So next Tuesday we have to do the return trip, Roy taking 2 of them and their luggage back to the airport in our car, whilst Dad drives the rental car.
