Mighty Vulcan

Had a lovely day for my Birthday. Sandwiched in between the beer festival and presents in the evening was an hour at the Windermere airshow. The undisputed star of the show was the Avro Vulcan. It was absolutely tremendous. Huge and noisy, it gave me shivers. Strange that something designed to drop nukes on Moscow could get me so emotional and full of pride!
