school shoes

peggy got her first pair of school shoes today - she is cock-a-hoop! still three weeks left of the holidays but I know she'll be wearing these round the house non-stop.

we had fun today recording songs at captain tom's studio for elizabeth's 8th birthday party - tried and failed to take a photo of the birthday girl in the dark studio - but I believe meester feature managed to get a good one!

on the way home we heard the sad news about amy winehouse...shocking but not that unexpected. I think everyone hoped she would get through it eventually. shame.
