The Canadian interior - Day 3

Staying for two nights in Banff allowed us to travel up to Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Great views of wildlife and scenery up and back.

The wildlife included a wild bear cub (who ran off before I could get to him), nutcrackers, a big old stag who plodded at his own pace not caring how many people were snapping him (he had somewhere to go and was going there at his own speed.) and hundreds of these little guys who we thought were chipmunks but are apparently ground squirrels (might be the same thing but....). The scenery was amazing and even had a rainbow thrown in for good measure.
