Brilliant Color

It is a cold dull glum day today - but no frost as they predicted, and still no snow or rain.
Maybe we will not get it at all, or not as bad as the weather forecasters have been predicting.
Thought it was a good opportunity to clean out my desk. I have all these CD's that are no longer of any use, but have been reluctant to throw them out, as I knew they would come in handy one day.
I had seen something similar to this image I have taken today, at one of the talks at our Club.
I obviously love color, bright colors, but also I love soft, subtle and pastel colors.
Looking through my journal, it is very rare that I do B&W, and yet I love it, but I do not think my subjects loan themselves to B&W.
