Goodbye

This afternoon we gathered to say goodbye to a lovely lady called Alison. It was a Quaker ceremony, held at a Church of Scotland kirk with folk there from many different religions and none, locals and incomers alike.

Her friends came from all different walks of life, she always had a smile and a cheery word for everyone and a sense of humour and fun too. Her funeral brought us all together to share our memories of her, and to remember a kind, modest and very caring lady.
