It was warm and sunny and fun to wander round the garden looking at things from new angles. The compost heap I built the day before yesterday reached 50 degrees according to my nerdy new thermometer. I picked up 5 strawbales in the car and distributed slabs of them over the weediest bits of the most unloved beds.
