I wanted to Blip a flower today for a friend who is having a tough day. You know who you are and I know you will read this. thinking of you honey and I'm only a phone call away x x x

Then, I have just heard the sad news about Amy Winehouse. To lose such a talented British icon at such a young age, 27, is desperately sad. I can't get my head around it. Such a troubled young lady and I can only image how her family are feeling, despite them maybe thinking it would come one day due to the problems she has had.

I saw her live at The Academy which is a really small venue. She was brilliant and performed with little effort. Yes, she was probably under the influence of drink or drugs and it was evident but none the less she was brilliant and it was one of my memorable gigs.

Sorry, this is a bit of a down Blip and I feel a bit rubbish at finding words.
