Amsterdam

Cold dark wet Saturday with no outdoors blip but instead one from a picture book by Mitsumasa Anno, Japanese author of children's books. He's travelled across the world and captured his encounters in many sketches that filled his books. This one shows the view from Damrak in front of the railway station, any visitor to the city will recognize this view - altho' since some years a lot of mayham is around cause of the subways' construction. I walked here yestereve after my walks thro' the polderland a little up north of this city, so just a picture of a fresh memory from me for today's blip.
