Golden Cap from the Cobb at Lyme Regis

A walk around Lyme Regis ended with the obligatory walk along the Cobb. The weather had changed from sunny to showery and the wind had become troublesome on the slippery surface of the ancient breakwater.

In the distance the sun shone through the cloud to illuminate the sandstone crown of the highest peak on the south coast.

We retired to the Royal Standard for hot food and cold beer, Ho Hum....
