High Summer in Seaham

Great day for the beach, well, if the massive waves hadn't completely consumed it and the Summer hadn't gone AWOL. I have to say the waves were spectacular, and Seaham Harbour lighthouse got a thrashing!

Less spectacular was the state of mam's hands after she thought it was a good idea to grab handfuls of the foam created by the sea, though very funny watching her trying to clean her hands on grass and then ultimately her socks!
