Newhaven 5 a.m.

I haven't done many sunrise shots before and I'm not sure if there are a set of rule to follow, so I headed down to Newhaven at 5 a.m. this morning and was quite happy to make it up as I went along :O)

When I got home I couldn't understand why in lightroom the TIFF I was saving as a JPG would come out different when viewed. In fact the picture was a lot lighter. After much googling I had my first introduction to ICC profiles. Subsequently I changed the mac's profile to match the TIFF and all was well.

If I can just improve by 1% a day then that will be a lot of percents by the end of the year hopefully :O)
