Pick me, pick me, pick me!

BBQ this evening at Pam and Pat's. They have the most beautiful garden and the rain held off all evening so we were able to be outside. (It was a bit cool but great to be out.)

Pat is an expert with the BBQ so we had a splendid meal. We played boule and skittles and quoits. We chatted about the walking festival and all sorts of other things too.

It was hard to choose which section of the garden to blip. Here is one of the varieties of peas. The image was very very green, so I have desaturated it a little and then used a mask to bring back the full colour on 3 pea pods.

Earlier today Mum had a small op as an outpatient. She is doing well but is a bit uncomfortable.

Great news yesterday was that the Edinburgh and Glasgow publication, The List, chose Blipfoto as the best website in Scotland. They used blips from a few of us to illustrate the piece. Mine was Castle Stalker. I'm thrilled about it.
