Yikes

Um, did I mention that I have an irrational fear of spiders? As usual, I had to take a zillion shots to get one that I liked, and by the time I was done, I was sweaty (it's still like an oven in NJ) AND my skin was crawling. However, I like this shot. This sums up my husbands mantra for life - eat or be eaten. (Hey, he grew up in Queens so it was a good rule to live by!) And, by the way, the dragonfly was dead by the time I came along. Actually, the spider was trying to transport the dragonfly to a safer spot - I am guessing she wanted to enjoy her meal away from hungry eyes. Or something...
