having spent the week looking after new lives, i found myself musing on lives gone in the graveyard in the village where my daughter lives.
what drew me to this one was the large skull, much larger than those on other stones, & the carefully observed & carved bone beneath it. it made me wonder why the stonemason only used one bone, & how he was able to know such details about it.
