It's a Mug's Game...

...buying matching crockery in our house. We must break as many cups, mugs and plates in a year as the average Greek wedding congregation.

I had friends round for end of term coffee today and as I laid out the mugs I realised that I didn't have a single matching set.

So I've decided not to fight it. From now on I will buy single mugs only and they will be pretty or funky and retro but I will be happy to use them, all of them, whichever ones are left in the cupboard at any point in time.

Just thought I'd tell you that.
