Avignon Festival.

We are docked on the Rhone at Avignon and the festival is in full swing. Like Edinburgh, it started in 1947 and has grown to be huge, especially the Fringe. Lots of people out ont he streets handing out flyers and performing bit from their shows. It's really hot too.

Last night, we had 14th July fireworks. The original display was postponed due to high winds. We had a grandstand view from the boat. Perfect timing.

I've partially caught up with commenting as we were having a fairly good connection for a while but I'm likely to be out of touch again for a few days...
