Royal Betty

This year I had to get a new dahlia for my balcony after I killed the old one by foolishly watering the bulbs in winter. How terribly stupid of me! I loved this plant :-(

I choose a Royal Betty which turned out pink to my surprise- the package said dark red. So did the package of my old dahlia, and it turned out pink, too. Odd.

I can't find my dahlia online. There is a variety named 'Betty', but the blossoms look completely different. Also, it's a dwarf variety while my plant is supposed to be a semi- dwarf.
