Aloe vera

My Aloe's flowers are almost done by now (I'm back-blipping this a week later).

This is a shot from them in full bloom. They look a lot sadder now....but I am still thrilled that the Aloe has decided to bloom at all!

It is odd how the individual flowers start opening from the bottom to the top, and they never quite open wide up (should they?), but rather fall off after a couple of days.
