Under the Erskine Bridge

Today I was heading off to see my lovely friends Why and PoRu. My friend H was heading across the country so she drove me over to Glasgow and came along to surprise the guys. As I was bringing an extra guest I also offered to bring lunch. Easiest thing to make for lunch? Picnic of course!

For the true picnic experience we headed down to a bit of beach on the banks of the Clyde underneath the Erskine Bridge. We had a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately the "general picnic" shots that I took were filled with frowning faces. I think it must have been all the animated conversation as they really were having a good time. When playing with the zoom on my camera I got this lovely shot of Why.

When the picnicing was done I headed in to the centre of Glasgow to meet up with N, one of my old friends from uni. It was lovely to see her as it had been far too long since we last caught up.
