Pictures lie!

The sunshine in this photo does absolutely not match the miserable weather in Paris or in Birmingham! And the sunshine above the clouds that flooded into the plane as we flew across the channel did not reflect the demeanor of the stewardess' who were about as friendly as a bear with a hangover.

I didn't realise aloof Parisian service was included in my airfare. Or that aloof Parisian service was included in the training for some (not all) airline staff. Playing catch with the steaming cup of coffee that was thrown at me was an experience though.

Seeing my old class leave primary school tomorrow, I'm sure they'll be tears, probably not mine though.
